10034436S is a 2" x 1" Zebra PolyPro 4000T tag: a heavy 8.5 mil white polypropylene tag for thermal transfer printing. It has no adhesive, so it hangs, ties or locks onto the item instead of sticking to it. The plastic stock holds up outdoors for about 2 years and stays readable through rain, sun and handling.

Which Printers Take 10034436S?
This is thick tag stock, so it calls for a Zebra industrial printer. The Zebra ZT411 and Zebra ZT231 both handle media up to 10 mil thick.
- 3 in. core rolls fit the Zebra ZT411 and ZT231, up to 8 in. across.
- 1 in. core rolls fit the Zebra ZT231, up to 6 in. across.
Please note: Zebra desktop printers such as the ZD421 take media up to 7.5 mil thick, so this 8.5 mil tag isn't a match for them. If you print on a desktop model, give us a call and we'll point you to a tag that fits.
What Ribbon Does a Zebra PolyPro 4000T Tag Need?
You'll want a Zebra wax/resin ribbon. The Zebra 3200 wax/resin ribbon is the standard match, and the Zebra 6100 wax/resin ribbon is a good lower-cost option. Choose a ribbon at least as wide as the tag.

Tag or Label: Which Do You Need?
A label has adhesive and sticks to a flat, clean surface. A tag has none, so it's the answer when there is nothing good to stick to: a plant stem, a coil of cable, a rough or oily part. Tags are also thicker and stiffer, which helps them survive wind and handling. If your item has a smooth surface and the mark should stay on it, a Zebra PolyPro 4000T label is the simpler choice.
Before You Order 10034436S
- Check that your printer handles 8.5 mil media. Industrial models do, and most desktop models don't.
- Tags have no gap between them the way labels do, so your printer may need its media sensor set for a notch or black mark.
- Store unused rolls at around 72°F and 50% relative humidity.
